Norwood Class 5 Hair Transplant in 1 Session

This 36 year old male had experienced significant hair loss throughout the top of his scalp. He had a central forelock of thinning hair in the front and only miniaturized vellus hair throughout the top. He wanted to transplant as much hair as possible. Dr. McGrath determined he was a good candidate for FUT strip harvesting and he had strong wavy hair in the donor area.

During the procedure Dr. McGrath was able to harvest enough tissue to transplant 4,023 grafts, all dissected and separated under microscopes. Hair growth is excellent and the patient is on medical therapy to maintain his existing hair.  After photos were taken during his 1 year follow up appointment in our office.
