I was experiencing thinning in my hair on the top back and top front. I began taking the product in June of 2025 and by December, about 5 months, my hair is back and better than ever! I actually also have less gray hair!!!!

I began losing hair on my crown in my mid 20s, and it eventually reached a point where I couldn't conceal it anymore. Eventually, I decided to start buzzing my head because it seemed like the next best option for me. I remember looking at myself in the mirror, thinking, "This could be the last time I ever see this version of myself". It wasn't just about hair; it was about my identity.



About 5 years later, I had decided to look into a hair transplant. I began researching current procedures, cost, results, and everything I could find. There were plenty of doctors out there offering the service, but turns out there are only a handful in Texas that are certified through the American Board of Hair Restoration (ABHRS) and McGrath Medical is one of them.

They were certified, but what really pulled me in were the YouTube videos that Steve did. One of them was a mock 1:1 consultation where he answered questions about the procedure. It felt very unscripted and organic to me. It was apparent that McGrath was passionate about what they did and were more interested in helping people realize their goals. During my procedure, the staff were nothing but kind and accommodating from the consultation through post-op. Its been about 6 months since my procedure and the McGrath team remains committed and checks in periodically.

The graft transplants generally take 8-12 months before results really show, although the results were so successful I already have a full head of hair. It honestly looks better than when I was 18, which I never would have believed until I saw it with my own eyes. Some ask me, "why did you do it?". I did it for myself, and that's the honest truth. I wanted to look in the mirror and recognize who I was again.

For those who are unsure and are still researching, do yourself a kindness and see Steve with McGrath Medical for a consultation. At the very least, it will give you solace knowing your options. It may end up being one of the best decisions you ever made, like it was for me.

Dr. McGrath went out of his way to be accommodating and to make sure I had all of my questions thoroughly answered. His staff is friendly and the overall experience was very professional. I am glad I went here for my procedure.

Dr. McGrath is truly a blessing to the hair transplant world. I previously had a hair transplant at Advanced Hair Restoration in Beverly Hills, California, but the results were extremely disappointing. I waited over a year after the procedure and saw no new hair growth at all—my frontal hairline was still a disaster, with absolutely no improvement.

Went to Dr. McGrath 6 months ago due to VERY noticeable hair thinning. After our first visit, he prescribed a compounded medication for me. They took photos of my head/hair as a reference point for my follow up visits. After 6 months of taking the medication religiously as prescribed, the improvement in how my hair growth looked and the "quality" of my hair was amazing. They took pictures again and then showed me the "before and after" pictures. I left there feeling so much better, more confident, and happy. I will continue with the medication and return in another 6 months. I fully expect to be closer to having the hair I had before the thinning began. Thank you Dr. McGrath!!!
